MBA Open House Jan 21-22, 2022

Marion Baptist Association is hosting an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at the MBA Missionary Resource Center - 1520 NE 14th St, Ocala, FL 34470.  MBA active member churches will have the opportunity to share information about their church and community ministries in their regional display. There will be four displays representing each quadrant of the association's geographic area. Churches should contact their regional prayer coordinator for information on how to participate in their regional display.  If you don't know you your prayer coordinator is, contact the MBA resource center at [email protected] or  (352) 622-6245.

The open house will last for two days beginning at 9 a.m. each day.  On the first day, Friday January 21st, community leaders are invited to tour the mobile dental unit and disaster relief vehicles as well as the MBA Missionary Resource Center.  Inside the MRC, there will be four regional displays from churches in each region of the association's geographic area.  The theme for the displays is "Loving and Serving Our Communities."  The first day of open house will conclude with a ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 2:00 p.m.

On Day 2, Saturday, January 22, everyone in the community is invited to come and see what a group of churches that are committed to loving and serving our communities can do together. 

Free coffee will be served by Dignity Roasters of Ocala each day. 

Ribbon Cutting @ 2:00 PM Jan 21

The Ocala Metro Chamber and Economic Partnership (CEP) will help us to celebrate with a ribbon cutting for the MBA Missionary Rescue Center at 2 pm on Friday, January 21.  Join local business and civic leaders as we officially inaugurate  the MBA Missionary Resource Center.  The purpose of the MBA MRC is to provide orientation, training, and resources to people who are called to serve in our local mission field.  The MRC will be an information hub for local churches and a service center for pastors and missional church members. 

Florida Baptist Convention will also be displaying their Mobile Dental Unit and Disaster Relief Kitchen.
