As part of Crossover 2026, the Florida Baptist Convention, Bill Glass Ministries, and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) are joining forces for a life-changing outreach event: The Bill Glass Day of Champions.
This is more than just a volunteer opportunity—it is a chance to bring the hope of the Gospel into a place where it is needed most.
What is the Bill Glass Day of Champions?
On Saturday, June 6, volunteers will head into the FDC Central Florida Reception Center for a day of intentional outreach. Bill Glass Ministries – Behind the Walls is known for using high-energy events and athletics to open doors, but the heart of the mission is the one-on-one and small-group conversations that follow.
As a volunteer, you will spend the day engaging with individuals, offering encouragement, praying for needs, and clearly sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
No Experience? No Problem.
If you’re nervous about sharing your faith, don’t be! We won't send you in unprepared. Every volunteer participates in a mandatory Equip & Ignite Training session. This practical training is designed to give you the confidence and tools you need to share the Gospel effectively.
Event Schedule:
Friday, June 5 (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Mandatory Training & Dinner at Aloma Baptist Church, Winter Park.
Saturday, June 6 (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Outreach at FDC Central Florida Reception Center, Orlando.
Important Details to Know:
Age Requirement: All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Registration Deadline: Because this event takes place within a correctional facility, security checks are required. The deadline to register is Sunday, May 3rd.
The Commitment: To participate on Saturday, you must attend the Friday evening training session.

Register via Crossover Orlando: Visit the NAMB Serve portal and click "Sign up for this event."
Complete the Bill Glass Registration: After signing up through NAMB, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete your security background check through Bill Glass Ministries.
