The Marion Baptist Association will hold its 141st Annual Celebration on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Summerfield, Florida. This gathering promises to be a meaningful time of worship, preaching, and reflection on the many ways God has worked through the association over the past year. Believers from across Marion County and beyond will come together to celebrate the faithfulness and growth experienced within the local church family, fostering unity and encouragement among all attendees.

Churches within the Marion Baptist Association are encouraged to elect messengers to represent them at the Annual Celebration. According to the MBA bylaws, all messengers must be duly elected and certified in writing by their churches. Each church is entitled to a minimum of three messengers, with additional representation allotted based on church membership size—two extra messengers for every twenty-five resident members beyond the first fifty, up to a maximum of fifteen messengers per church. Churches should send their list of elected messengers to the Clerk prior to the meeting, and messengers must register with the Clerk before the approval of the messenger body in order to participate in voting.

The Annual Celebration serves several important purposes beyond worship and fellowship. It provides a forum to receive reports from programs and committees, preview upcoming emphases for the association’s work, and conduct necessary business. The meeting also offers inspiration and a chance to promote the work God continues to accomplish through the Marion Baptist Association. This fall event, determined by the Administrative Team, remains a cornerstone occasion for strengthening relationships and advancing the Kingdom’s mission in Marion County.
