Darrell Reneau at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Inverness asks that if your church wants to help with Disaster Relief in Crystal River / Citrus County (no prior DR training or experience needed), please call the church office at (352) 726-7335 and let them know that you are coming. They need volunteers for chainsaw work, clean up & recovery, mud out, temporary roofing and feeding. This is not an official SBC DR callout. The nearest SBC / Send Relief teams will be stationed in Perry. Therefore the church and Nature Coast Baptist Association are hosting their own Disaster Relief callout. They will train you On-the-Job. If your church would like to send tools, equipment, supplies, etc. please contact Cornerstone Baptist Church in advance and let them know what you are bringing.
